Meet Broc Silberzahn
“My wife and I are both working professionals and 9 years ago, we needed child care for our daughter. We toured a bunch of facilities, put down 3 non-refundable deposits, and really pored over the decision for weeks. It wasn’t easy and I remember the hesitation, especially on the 1st day, leaving our baby with essentially strangers. Having this appreciation for the whole experience as a working parent has really connected me with a franchise like Kiddie Academy. I’m deeply passionate about what we do because I’ve lived it myself,” says Broc Silberzahn, newly appointed Vice President of Franchise Development.
While Broc is new to the vice president suite, he’s no stranger to Kiddie Academy. He joined the company in 2013 as a Director of Franchise Development and most recently served as Senior Director for the department. He has over 20 years of business experience, with 15 years in the education franchise industry. In his new role, Broc has ambitious plans.
“Kiddie Academy is coming off our best year ever. We saw 20 percent growth in system-wide revenue, have more than 250 locations in 30 states and the District of Columbia and were consistently recognized as leader in our industry. My goal is not only to continue to build upon the success we’ve seen but expand it into new markets. We want to open an additional 30-35 new franchise locations across the United States by the end of 2020.”
While a growing footprint in new and existing markets is exciting, Broc explains that it isn’t the only focus for him.
