“I love reviving emails immediately after my child is picked up with details about their day. I live separately from his dad so it’s comforting to know when he’s been picked up by dad when I’m not with him. I also appreciate the emails that come throughout the day with pictures of him engaged in the activities he completed that day. “1) Competent, responsible, understanding and kind staff and management. They will listen to any valid concerns you have and take action to fix the problem 2) App-enabled cameras in classrooms and playground 3) Clean facility, sensible policies 4) Great communication - daily/weekly child report and pics 5) In advance notice of possible closures due to weather, updates etc. One point: If it can be ensured that the enrollment agreement signed in September each year contains an accurate holiday list for the upcoming year ( i.e. to next Sep ), it makes vacation planning easier.
